After having problems with my mower i decided to seek some advice from the people i thought could give me advice.
I explained my problem in great detail even to the point of showing them the spring shape and size that i needed. After about 15 mins of tutting and teeth sucking i was eventually told they could order the part for me,( as it was not in stock ) How long it would take they couldnt say.

I later rang back up to order the said part and as it was urgent i asked if i could pay the extra postage so as to be sure that it arrived in good time. But this time instead of teeth sucking i was met with this patronising voice laughing at me saying " you see what you people dont understand is that briggs and stratton dont just send single items, i wish i had a fiver for every customer asking me that sir its just not possible " by now i had reached boiling point but my hands were tied and i had to swallow the bad customer service and the feeling that i was asking for it free and go ahead with this order.

Over 2 weeks passed still no sign of my part i knew the posts not gonna be quick but i though i would ring up just to see how things were going.

Again the same answer was waiting for me but this time " i did tell you sir these things take time " so with that i asked has it been ordered yet? " No sir, we have to wait to add things to the order" with that i cancelled my order. Later that day i decided just to check for myself on the internet B & S site, if what he was saying was true.... 15 mins later i had the part ordered in the post and arrived 5 days later! So my advice to you is if you like poor customer service, and being told lies about deliery times just so they can keep there costs down, even if you offer to pay the extra carriage then this place is the one for you.I would strongly, strongly suggest looking else where.
